Job Summary:
The Car Wash and Detailer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles through thorough cleaning, washing, waxing, and detailing. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Cleaning and Washing:
- Perform exterior and interior cleaning of vehicles, including hand washing, vacuuming, and window cleaning.
- Safely operate car wash equipment, such as power washers, brushes, and vacuums.
- Remove dirt, dust, and debris from vehicle surfaces, wheels, and tires.
Detailing:
- Apply wax, polish, and other protective coatings to vehicle exteriors to enhance shine and protection.
- Clean and detail vehicle interiors, including upholstery, dashboard, console, and floor mats.
- Address more intricate detailing tasks, such as engine bay cleaning, chrome polishing, and headlight restoration.
Stain and Odor Removal:
- Identify and effectively treat stains and odors on vehicle interiors using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
Quality Control:
- Inspect vehicles before and after cleaning to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Address any missed spots, streaks, or other imperfections to ensure vehicles meet customer expectations.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction.
