About the job
The Role:
An experienced Sales Associate/Promoter for MPC managed pharmacy is required who will be Responsible for the selling of cosmetic products, non-prescription goods, toiletries and other related goods in retail pharmacies. Also, provide retail merchandise sales in accordance with the policies and procedures of the organization.
What you will do:
- Greet customer, in a polite manner and ascertain customer needs for increased sales.
- Provide excellent customer service through direct salesmanship in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Setting up merchandise on sales floor and provide orientation on product use to customer.
- Determining customer requirements and advising customers on the selection, price and usage of non- prescription medicines.
- Advising customers on the correct application and storage of medicines.
- Selling goods such as non-prescription drugs, first aid supplies, toiletries and cosmetics
- Accepting payment for goods and services by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices.
- Promoting goods and services that are for sale.
- Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as product inventories and participating in stock takes.
- Stacking and displaying goods for sale, and wrapping and packing goods sold
- Compute sales prices and provide reports as specified by the line authority.
- Maintain professional conduct with internal and external customers for a robust working environment.
- Ensures adequate focus on personal professional growth relevant to taking on more challenging assignments.
- Attends training for self-development.
- Perform other duties as and when assigned based on the requirement.
What you must have:
- Qualification: Higher secondary
- Experience: 1 Year in Retail sales
- Knowledge: Retail Merchandise Sales, Selling Techniques, Complaint Resolution.
- Skills: Selling skill, negotiating and convincing skill, effective Communication, Time Management, Organizing, Team work, Continuous Learning, Value & Ethics, Office Application (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
